ZUS was represented by Zbigniew Derdziuk. Dariusz Blocher, chairman in Budimeks who is currently performing presidency in Porozumienie, signed the letter of intent on behalf of Porozumienie dla Bezpieczeństwa w Budownictwie.
Ideas and activity of Porozumienie dla Bezpieczeństwa w Budownictwie coincide with tasks which concern emergency prevention realized by Zakład Ubezpieczeń Społecznych. Porozumienie will help ZUS to identify needs of small and medium companies in the area of increasing the level of safety at work and enabling to reach this group of companies with the information about “The program of additional financing of activities aimed at maintaining abilities to work for the whole period of professional activity led by payers of contributions”.
Porozumienie dla Bezpieczeństwa w Budownictwie, in turn, is counting on the support from ZUS in establishment of safe work’s procedures in the construction trade which is characterized by the highest accident rate. Moreover, Porozumienie is going to prepare training programs dedicated to certain groups of workers in this industry.
Porozumienie dla Bezpieczeństwa w Budownictwie was founded in 2010. It is composed of eight general constructors: Bilfinger Infrastructure, Budimex, Hochtief Poland, Mostostal Warsaw, Mota Engil, Polimex Mostostal, Skanska and Warbud in order to enhance safety in Polish constructions through realization of projects which introduce systemic solutions in the area of BHP, i.a. common format of documents, model of confirming professional qualifications of construction employees or temporary trainings. Porozumienie would like to propagate safety culture, realize threats which come from the construction work and in consequence – eliminate risk.
