Warsaw. The fate of Instytut Pamięci Narodowej's move to an office building proposed by the Minister of Treasury, Mikołaj Budzanowski is about to be decided. One should remember, that it's IPN who will ultimately decide whether it accepts this building.

Minister of Treasury Mikołaj Budzanowski gave his proposal for the new headquarters of Instytut Pamięcie Narodowej, which has to move out from the currently occupied building on Towarowa St., sold by RUCH to GHN company. The structure on Wołoska St., currently occupied by Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu, will be emptied soon, as ARP moves to a building near Rondo de Gaulle'a.

- MSP as well as IPN have reached an initial agreement in the matter of Institute's new headquarters. Currently the works and arrangements to solve housing problems are being conducted. Considered is the proposed building on Wołoska St. in Warsaw, currently occupied by Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu. ARP proposed various possibilities of utilising the property on Wołoska 7 St.  In MSP's assessment the building can fulfill IPN requirements, epsecially since the Institute conducts an investment on Kłobucka St., which might house all of the archive materials in IPN's possesssion in the future- reveals e-biurowce.pl Magdalena Kobos, Ministerstwo Skarbu Państwa's spokesperson.

IPN is interested in the new location but wants the building to be given to it for permament management. As for the terms, IPN retains caution.

-We're very interested in this building, but only under certain terms which are yet to be precised  - said briefly during a telephone conversation IPN's pokesperson, Andrzej Arseniuk.
