„GreenBuilding Programme” functions in Poland for seven years already. Its task is to promote activites for energy efficiency in buildings, office buildings as well. Environmentally friendly Senator building, Ghelamco Poland's latest investment, is also in the middle of certification in BREEAM ecological diploma.
- Fulfilling such strict requirements is a challenge for every developer. We have managed to cope with the task and thanks to that our second office building became the prestigous European program's partner. The first to join the GreenBuilding Programme was the Mokotów Nova investment, which houses our headquarters. Senator's offical partnership in this initiative is a great distinction, especially since Senator is an exceptional project for us - says Jeroen van der Toolen, Ghelamco's Managing Director for Central and Eastern Europe.
Located on Bielańska St. in Warsaw, Senator's main lessee is PKN Orlen as well as companies belonging to Rabobank Group, Legg Mason, Euronet and BRE Bank. The environmentally friendly office building offers 25 000 sq.m. of modern area.
It is an another distinction for Ghelamco Poland. The developer was the first in Poland to recieve official ecological certificate BREEAM for office investment. The company already has three certificates of this kind with a VERY GOOD grade - for Trinity Park III, Crown Square and Katowice Business Point. Another two of Ghelamco's invvestments - Mokotów Nova and Senator, are waiting in the queue
