Over 16 000 sq. m of warehouse and office space will be executed within Hillwood Świecko for Schoenberger. A German producer and distributor of shades and different kinds of sunshades will move into the new building in Q4 2018. The new building will operate as a central warehouse for servicing the European market. BTS Department of AXI IMMO advised the tenant in the process of negotiations of lease conditions and technical issues.
Schoenberger has a head office in Hohenschäftlarn near Munich. It’s been operating on the European market for 30 years, delivering products related to sun protection, including shades, awnings, pleated blinds, mosquito nets and all necessary accessories and drives for garage doors.
Due to the increasing number of orders and expansion into other European markets, we’ve been searching for an optimal location for a central warehouse that would allow us for effective organization of supply chain between our factory in Toruń, seaports, clients in Germany and countries of Western Europe. This new location met our expectations in 100% – says Jarosław Markowski, Vice President of Schoenberger Poland Enterprises.
Thanks to a thorough analysis of available market offers as well as time and technical requirements, the choice of Hillwood will certainly turn out to be the best solution for clients. We’re happy that we could advise Schonenberger in this strategic choice concerning the central warehouse. The location next to the German border and only 1.5 hours from Berlin is a convenient place for running logistic operations on an international scale – says Marek Kosielski, Director of BTS Department of AXI IMMO.
Hillwood Świecko is a warehouse park that will comprise two buildings of total space amounting to ca. 71 000 sq. m for logistics and warehousing. The park is situated in Słubice borough in Świecko in close proximity to the A2 highway at DK no. 29, connecting Słubice with Zielona Góra and 100 km away from Berlin.
