“The Guilty” is a thriller co-written and directed by Gustav Möller. It tells a story of 112 emergency dispatcher. The movie is the Danish candidate for the Oscar, hailed as an amazing revelation of the Sundance and Rotterdam festivals.
“The Guilty” is a story of Asger Holm (Jakob Cedergren), a policeman suspended from duty for the duration of his process. He spends a routine evening on the 112 line dealing with the usual drunks, jokers who block the number or worried people who report a couple of thefts. Everything changes when the man receives a call from a terrified young woman who is kidnapped, trapped in a car and taken into an unknown direction. Relying on his experience and intuition, the man tries to help the woman, using only his phone.
This psychological thriller forces you to the back of your seat for 85 minutes. The screening is envisaged for November 29, 2018, in Muranów cinema. The Guilty is cast by Jakob Cedergren, Jessica Dinnage and Omar Shargawi.
