A pre-premiere screening of “Silence” is to be held on 28 February this year in the Warsaw’s cinema Muranów. The media patronage of the event is provided by e-biurowce.pl.
“Silence” is the newest film directed by Martin Scorsese, the author of e.g. “The Wolf of Wall Street,” “Goodfellas,” and “The Departed.” It is an adaptation of a famous novel by Shūsaku Endō and the most intimate movie in Scorsese's career. It presents the life of people in the time of tensions and religious conflicts. The action of the film takes place in the 17th century. Two young Jesuits, who travel to locate their missing mentor, arrive to Japan, where there is a fight with Christianity. All they experience put their capability of survival and beliefs to a test.
The film stars Andrew Garfield, Adam Driver and Liam Neeson. Andrew Garfield was awarded BAFTA. The actor is also nominated for the Golden Globe for the role in “The Social Network.” One of his recent movies is “Hacksaw Ridge” directed by Mel Gibson. Adam Driver is known from the role of Kylo Ren in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” by J.J. Abrams, and the role in the TV series produced by HBO – “Girls.” Liam Neeson, who received the Oscar for the role of Oskar Schindler in “Schindler List” by Steven Spielberg and who was nominated for the Golden Globe and BAFTA, also stars in “Silence”.
“Silence” will be released within pre-premiere film shows organized by Interbiuro together with the film distributor Gutek Film. They are particularly aimed at the experts of the real estate industry. The partners of the event are such companies as ESPES, Witkowski and Armstrong.
