Amber Energia Centrum Usług Sp. z o.o. was granted permission to run a business in Łódzka Specjalna Strefa Ekonomiczna. The company became the first tenant of office space located in renovated Fabryka Ludwika Grohmana, located on Tymienieckiego 22/24 street.
The new tenant is part of a Amber Energia S.A. group, which is supplying electricity and selling renewable electricity. In Łódź it plans to create a centre, offering services to other companies from the group. The services will be for example HR and accounting management, customer service, database management, IT systems and infrastructure management. Additionally, the company is planning to create new and develop existing IT systems and websites to cater for the group’s needs.
During its new investment Amber Energia Centrum Usług will employ at least 10 people until the 1st of January 2014. The company also declared to cover investment expenses which will be at least 1 million zł high.
Łódzka Specjalna Strefa Ekonomiczna has been working for 16 years and until now has granted 224 permissions. In its framework, investments worth in total almost 10 million zł were made, and they allowed for almost 26,000 jobs to be created. Since the beginning of the year, in ŁSSE 6 permissions have been granted, and the declared investment expenditures will reach 228 million zł. The result will be 430 new jobs. 1654 jobs will be maintained.
KPMG reports from the years 2009-2012 say, that ŁSSE is rated by investors as one of the best economic areas in Europe. According to fDi Magazine’s (Financial Times Group) report, Free Zones of the Future 2012/2013, Łódzka Specjalna Strefa Ekonomiczna is on the third place in Europe, and 18th in the world.
