Cushman & Wakefield and Hays Poland have prepared a guide for the business services sector in collaboration with HB Reavis and Bene.

The premiere of “Guide for Companies from Sector of Modern Business Services” was held during the 7th edition of Property Forum in Warsaw. This report was prepared by Cushman & Wakefield international consulting agency and Hays Poland in collaboration with HB Reavis and Bene.

According to the estimates of ABSL, there will be over 300 thousand people hired in the sector of modern services for business by the end of 2020. At present, the majority of foreign companies have their head offices in Warsaw, however, centers are also commonly launched in Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan, Katowice, Lodz, Tricity, or other smaller cities such as Rzeszow or Lublin. These centers deliver services in four key segments: outsourcing (BPO), shared services (SSC), IT as well as research and development (R&D).

Business services centers belong to one of the most dynamically developing sectors of Polish economy, thus it is crucial to choose a proper head office. Such place has to respond to the needs of company and its employees. So, the question is: what should it be like? The report prepared by Cushman & Wakefield and Hays Poland in collaboration with two partners: HB Reavis and Bene, consists of some tips related to optimal location and office design, legal actions or HR. Additionally, it constitutes a support for every company which makes a decision on launching a new services center.

The report also discusses the following subjects: how to prepare to open a new business services center, how to create an image of attractive employer thanks to location, how to create an important element of employee branding with the use of your office, what factors should be taken into consideration while choosing a place for running your office in order to increase employee retention, or what is the influence of market trends on the office real estate market in Poland? The report includes fundamental information on launching a business activity, some essential data from the labor law, information on concluding lease contracts or possibility of obtaining some exemptions or donations.

The partners of this project are Bene and HB Reavis whereas Pro Progressio is a patron of this paper. Media patrons are Grupa PTWP, conference’s organizer Property Forum Warsaw, Outsourcing Portal and Aspire.
