The first stage of construction works will include the highest part of the complex, that is 125-meter-high skyscraper – The Nivy Tower. Additionally, the building of a shopping mall, international bus station and market will start within the Stanica Nivy investment this summer. The project is to receive the first WELL Building Core and Shell certificate at the Gold level in Slovakia.
Stanica Nivy will combine functions of: business center, transport hub and representative entrance gate to Bratislava from East. There will be 70 000 sq. m of retail space and 31 000 sq. m of office space provided within the investment. The bus station will occupy 30 000 sq. m, whereas the planned market of healthy food will occupy 3000 sq. m. The fully air-conditioned bus terminal will be located underground. What is more, HB Reavis plans to launch a cable car in the future, which is to connect both shores of the Danube.
There will be a natural garden of the size of two football fields on the roof of the 5-level shopping mall, which is to be designed by BDP. The visitors will have relaxation zones as well as, for instance, athletics track at their disposal.
The commencement of Stanica Nivy would not be possible without years of planning. Therefore, we are convinced that our multifunctional investment will revive this district of Bratislava, introducing a modern commerce and office to the city. We also believe that it will make the urban communication system more efficient – says Jakub Gossányi, Head of Development, HB Reavis Slovakia.
The project of Stanica Nivy was devised by the London company – Benoy – and the architects of the Slovakian architectural studio – Siebert+Talas.
