Together with the stage of finalizing the stage of erecting the main construction of the building, a general contractor decided to turn on the heating in the building. Finishing works are being done now, as well as creating the external elevation of the tower and glassing it in facade system.
Taking into account the fact that we were starting the investment from complicated land works, so reaching a raw state in nearly two years is a huge achievement – said Tomasz Szopa, building director from Warbud, main contractor of the investment – It was possible due to employment of the most modern solutions i.a. complicated technology of diaphgram wall and involvement in a high peak even 800 people on the building site.
Plac Unii is located between Śródmieście and Mokotów. Complex consists of three buildings linked with a glass roof. The heighest building A has 21 storeys, however structures B and C – six. Plac Unii offers 56 800sqm of modern lease space alltogether. Structure has been given a Breem certification.
Putting a topping out is especially a merry moment, after many months of hard work – said Marc Lebbe, Managing Director in Liebrecht & wooD – I'm convinced that thanks to its functionality Plac Unii will be a unique place of work, shopping and spending a free time.
Companies such as Grupa ING i Dalkia Polska will open its offices in the building. Shops of Supersam, ZARA, Massimo Dutti, Vistula & Wólczanka, W. Kruk and Cubus will be found in the commercial part.
Investment of this scale is not just a challenge for investors and contractors of the building – pointed out Michał Skotnicki, President of BBI Development – A pace and the quality of the execution attests that cooperation between our companies works very well. I wish my business partners and myself many equally interesting challenges.
