Finished last wednesday in Bavaria's capital, Europe's largest real estate fair EXPO REAL was a perfect opportunity to make business contacts, make potential contractors interested in one's offer. That's what Skanska, who presented its buildings there for the first time, found out.
- Our interactive stand, on which we've presented Skanska's global green office building portfolio, attracted huge attention. It gave us great opportunities to start business relationships, as well as present how the friendly work environment we try to create in our buildings looks like. Our truly international team present on EXPO REAL fair has spent a lot of time with clients and potential investors, listening to their needs and expectations. We intend to keep up our presence on this main industry event in following years - promises Nicklas Lindberg, President of Skanska Commercial Development Europe.
Guests' attention to Skanska's stand has been attracted mainly by project Atrium 1 - an office building being erected in Warsaw, which is to be the first in Central-Eastern Europe "deep-green" type offfice building, close to perfection with it's minimal impact on the environment.
- Thanks to this year's EXPO we've made some interesting contacts and met many potential business partners. For the first time Skanska Property Poland presented its green buildings portfolio on the biggest industry fair, together with seven other countries with whom we create Skanska's developer division in the commercial property industry. We've also proved our involvement in green construction in Warsaw, Łódź, Wocław, Poznań and Cracow - explains Waldemar Olbryk, Preident of Skanska Property Poland.
Currently, Skanska is constructing Atrium 1, Green Corner (Warsaw) Green Day, Green Towers (Wrocław), Green Horizon (Łódź), Kapelanka (Cracow), Malta House (Poznań) in Poland. All projects are to be completed by year 2015.
