The prize was awarded during the gala crowning the conference “Polish Infrastructure & Construction” organized by Executive Club. The jury granted prizes in nine categories. Ghelamco Poland was distinguished in one category, receiving the title “Sustainable Construction Leader”. The company was awarded for the actions performed in accordance with the highest environmental and social standards as well as the performance of commercial projects in the vein of green construction.
All investments of Ghelamco Poland are performed in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, thus the award in the “Infrastructure and Construction Diamonds” competition is a feather in our cap and a great distinction for us – says Jeroen van der Toolen, Managing Director of Ghelamco, Central and Eastern Europe.
Ghelamco Poland is a first developer in Poland who was awarded BREEAM for the office investment, that is Trinity Park in 2010. All investments of the company are currently performed in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and the requirements of BREEAM certification. The green investments are Warsaw Spire and Wołoska 24 (BREEAM at the Excellent level). The Warsaw HUB is currently under construction. The investment will be characterized by the newest technological and green solutions.
The prizes within the “Infrastructure and Construction Diamonds” competition are awarded to people and companies from the infrastructure and construction industry distinguished by achievements, business effectiveness and innovativeness.
