Nestlé House, which is owned by Hines Poland Sustainable Income Fund (HPSIF) and managed by Hines Poland, was awarded a prize in the category “The Best Certified Green Building”. The goal of the competition organized by the Polish Green Building Council is promotion of modern solutions in the area of ecological construction.
Nestlé House is situated in the Warsaw’s Mokotów district and offers office space class A. The building was distinguished for e.g. the use of advanced solutions which limit media consumption: the installation using greywater (rainwater) and facilitations in the context of access to alternative transport. Nestlé House provides its users with a dedicated station Veturilo. Additionally, there are numerous facilitations for bicyclists, covered stands, or station for small repairs of single-track vehicles.
The building is also equipped with the advanced and glazed double façade, which enhances energetic effectiveness and increase the indoor comfort by limiting noise from the surrounding and providing access to daylight.
Additionally, numerous events reminding about taking care of the environment as well as blood donation are organized in Nestlé House within a year. Moreover, employees of Nestlé Purina are accompanied with their dogs at work from the beginning of autumn this year; all dogs were subjected to earlier observation (such as behavior in office conditions as well as reactions to people and other dogs) and then they received a special “passport” after approval by zoo psychologist, which warrants them to enter the office.
