A ceremonial opening of Job Office – an organizational unit of the District Labor Office in Gdańsk which specializes in corporation customer service – will be held in Olivia Business Center on 21st March this year. The tenant will occupy the area on the 13th floor of Olivia Six. The established unit will support entrepreneurs in creating professional personnel. On the one hand, Job Office will be promoting present-day offers of Public Employment Services, that is informing employers about organization of traineeships, training courses and possibilities of gaining financial support for establishing new working places. On the other hand, people employed by the unit will provide support in filling necessary documentation in electronic form. Thanks to e-service, each employer will have a chance to file applications in the District Labor Office such as: practice application, billing documents and other writings sent in form of an attachment. Moreover, advisors will also explain issues related to employment of people and they will provide tips how to solve other formal legal issues.
We will offer so called pre-recruitment to our institutional clients – Roland Budnik, Chairman of the District Labor Office in Gdańsk, says. On request of companies their future searching for employees will significantly go beyond candidates appearing directly in our office registry – Budnik adds. Job Office will benefit from the biggest data base in the region for that purpose, including collection from several institutions in Tricity, e.g. the District Labor Office in Gdańsk, University of Gdańsk, Sopot University of Applied Sciences, University of Business and Administration in Gdańsk, Gdańsk University of Technology and website pracopolia.pl.
Olivia Business Center is the biggest office and business center in the region. As a target, the size of the complex will exceed 170 000 sq. m. It will be composed of five offices – Olivia Gate, Olivia Point, Olivia Tower, Olivia Four and Olivia Six, which was commissioned in May 2015. The building of a skyscraper named Olivia Star, which will be the highest building of Olivia Business Center, started in April 2015. The residents of the complex are both global corporations and Polish companies from the sector of small and medium enterprises as well as start-ups. The complex will offer more than 1600 parking places to the tenants, more than 200 bicycle stands and 5 changing-rooms and showers.
