Within a recently started undertaking, ca. 20 thousand sq. m of rentable area will arise. The new building will be realized at Przy Rondzie Street, that is on the area located in close proximity to Rondo Mogilskiego. The choice of such location will provide the future tenants an access to hubs – both tram and bus which lead in the direction of the strict center and other parts of the city. According to architectural conception, Axis office will be composed of 8 floors with 3 underground tiers. On the ground floor, a service zone adjusted to the needs of potential tenants is envisaged. The underground tiers will be intended for internal car parks and technical premises.
The construction project includes innovations related to exploitation of the structure and its influence on the natural environment. According to the investor’s assumptions, the energy consumption will be 25 per cent lower than it is required. Moreover, the building is supposed to use 40 per cent less water than it is envisaged in effective regulations. The energy saving of the structure will be confirmed with the certificate in the international LEED system on Gold level. Among ecological and energy-saving solutions, which will be applied in the Cracow investment owned by Skanska Property Poland company, there are i.a. products intended for loading electric vehicles, racks for bicycles and showers for cyclists. The building will be finished in the fourth quarter of 2016.
Cracow is for us a natural place to run a business. We have been observing its potential while building here our first project, Kapelanka 42 structure, which found tenants and first purchasers really quickly. The new investment – Axis, meets the increasing needs of investors for high class office area, in which they will be able to develop new work places – adds Mariusz Krzak, Regional Director in Skanska Property Poland.
