A+ office is an eco-friendly structure – its opening was also organised in such style. The ceremony’s official part took place in a green atrium, which is three floors high, and among attractions planned for guests was i.a. a trail run by an electric BMWi3. Moreover, everyone was able to become acquainted with ecological solutions, applied in the building, which enabled to grant LEEDCS Gold certificate to the structure.
Systems which save ecological energy were installed in the complex. Among them are i.a.: outside blinds of the elevation, which limit an excessive sun’s access to interior of the structure in a summer time, ventilation and air-conditioning systems with the maximal recover of the heat, roof membrane reflecting the light and energy-saving lighting. A special fittings will enable to save 50 per cent of a drinking water, and systems letting to use a storm water will allow to water a green as well as flush. Furthermore, thanks to metering of the energy use and installing systems of an intelligent steerage of installations, tenants will be able to control the consumption of energy on rental areas.
Eurocentrum has also facilities for cyclists, which support ecologicality: sanitary facilities with 22 showers, 210 parking places, 2 repair stations and station for renting bicycles. The rebuilding of Aleje Jerozolimskie by the investor enabled also to realize a cycle line leading to the complex.
The project’s author is PRC Architekci studio. As a target, Eurocentrum will offer 69 578 sq. m of rentable area, 67 005 sq. m of which are supposed to perform an office function, and the rest part will be intended for a restaurant offer, delicatessen, pharmacy with chemist’s, rehabilitation centre, manicure and pedicure point, laundry and car parks – an underground with 612 and aboveground with 158 parking places. Some companies have already decided on a lease of space in Eurocentrum: Unilever, AB Foods Poland, Group One, Imtech Poland, Tebodin, Qumak, CEPD Management and Randstad Poland.
