Last Saturday the official opening and naming ceremony of the new office block was held in the Krakow Technology Park (KPT) in the Kraków-Czyżyny Special Economic Zone. Nautilus was ceremonially named by Barbara Stoch, Chairman of the Managing Board of Inwestprojekt, company which is the leader of the construction, on behalf of the project management company. Krakow company ABP Investments is the main investor, as well as the property’s owner.
At the event, there were representatives of companies and institutions engaged in the design process, construction and finishing processes, the representatives of KPT, entrepreneurs working in the Park and management and employees of the companies leasing space in the office block. The official item on the agenda was the symbolic christening of the Nautilus, after which the guests were invited to watch a laser and fireworks show. Then, they gathered on the so-called lower deck of the office block, that is, in the underground garage, decorated like the interior of a submarine. After short presentations by ABP Investments and DIAGNOSTYKA, the “housewarming party” began, which lasted until the early hours of the morning.
Nautilus is the first building, which was built within the frames of the Nautilus-Aquarius office team. It offers approximately 6000 sq.m of A class office space on four floors. The building, built using modern technology, which provides increased load-bearing capacity of the ceilings, is characterised by the façade made of steel and alucobond. The space is prepared for installation of heavier equipment and devices, which makes it suitable also for medical purposes.
ABP Investments Sp. z o.o. has been operating since 2004, and is connected to the DIAGNOSTYKA Group (the largest network of medical laboratories in Poland), which is the main tenant of office and medical space in Nautilus.
