Business Garden Poznań is rising in the neighborhood of Marcelińska ans Bułgarska streets. On May 23, the official laying of a cornerstone took place, which symbolically began the construction works. The projects is held by SwedeCenter company, which belongs to Property Division of Inter IKEA group that is going to manage the building in the future. The opening of the building is planned for the beginning of 2015.
During the ceremony, 30-meter crane transported a half-tone cornerstone made of concrete casting, which was then built in the corner of an underground garage hall of one of the four buildings that are being constructed now.
Business Garden is a business park with a planned hiring space of ca. 80 000 sq meters. Complex will offer modern office space and guarantee variable supplement functions and facilities associated with them. Innovative in its form, it is an image of aesthetic and ecological revolution in designing and building of sustainable office spaces – says the inscription of the erection act.

Our client, SwedeCenter gave us an ambitious task – to build the group of four office buildings and an underground garage on the crossroad of Bułgarska and Marcelińska till the end of 2014 – it is the first stage of the investment planned in this region. Business Garden Poznań is the biggest investment of this kind that is being constructed inPoznań. PORR Poland will do its best for the new building to fulfill all expectations of our clients and most of all to construct it according to sustainable building standards on LEED Gold level.
In 2001, City Council of Poznań agreed on a plan of land-use of „Marcelin” area. Since then, this part of the city has started to dynamically change. A modern communication artery emerged. In August 2011, a building permit for the construction of the first building as a prt of Business Garden Poznań was issued. The project fits perfectly to the strategy of city's development till 2030 that was also accepted by City Council. It will be done by improving our investing attractiveness, creating work places, supporting the development of Poznań metropolis and improving its position as the center of high-standard services – Adam Nowak, The Architect of the City of Poznań, added.
Business Garden is the office complex, which will offer 80 000 sq meters in 9 office buildings. The first stage is to build 42 000 sq meters.
