The „Central & Eastern European Construction & Investment Journal” real-estate magazine prepared a ranking of the best national branches of international consulting agencies. The amount of space rented by each company in 2010 was the main criterion. Four Polish branches are among the top ten Central and Eastern European companies.
The first place was granted to Polish consultants from Cushman & Wakefield. In the past year its agents participated in the rental of 423 000 sq. m of commercial space. Other Polish branches are not far behind. Jones Lang LaSalle (together with King Sturge) came in second place and lost to C&W by only 60 000 sq. m. The fifth place was taken by the agents of Colliers International with 211 000 sq. m of rental space. CB Richard Ellis, ninth in the ranking, rented 123 000 sq. m.
In the top ten of the ranking, apart from Polish companies, were also three Czech branches: C&W (3rd place), JLLS (7th place) and CBRE, which closed the top ten. What is more, two Hungarian agencies were appreciated: JLLS on 6th place and C&W on 8th place, and one Slovak agency (C&W on 4th place).
