Bridgestone joined the group of tenants in the Maraton office situated in Poznań. It will launch a shared services center on the area amounting to nearly 2000 sq. m. The office will gather experts of Bridgestone EBS Sp. z o.o. from the area of accounting, retail, taxes, compliance, operational HR and law.
We decided to choose Maraton for our new headquarters because this structure allows to work in accordance with our assumptions. The location in the very heart of the city with a noticeable logo will enhance our image and flexibility in management of office space will have a positive impact on management of finances. Our constant objective is to offer an attractive working place. Such assets as central location, arrangement of space that supports internal communication as well as additional infrastructure in the form of e.g. gym help us to achieve this goal. By following our CSR strategy, we support pro-ecological activities: central location of the office will enable convenient use of public transport. The very architecturally attractive building is designed in such a way to receive the LEED Gold certificate. We are going to apply for issuing of the LEED for Commercial Interiors certificate – says Marta Gabruk, HR Business Partner, Bridgestone.
The contract signed by Bridgestone means that the office has another tenant a year before completion of the building. Bridgestone is the second company which decided to rent office in the structure. The first tenant of the investment – Duni European Finance Function – decided to rent space in November 2015.
While designing Maraton we wanted to create an office zone in which it will be a real pleasure to work. Our experience in realization of office investments allowed us to arrange a place which will combine a comfortable work zone with a perfect architecture and high quality public zone, which is opened to the city. We are convinced that these assets will be appreciated by employees of Bridgestone and Maraton will become a vibrant place in both working hours and outside working hours – says Karol Klin, Regional Director for Lease, Skanska Property Poland.
Maraton is being realized by Skanska Property Poland at Królowej Jadwigi Street in Poznań. The building will offer jointly 25 000 sq. m of leased area to its tenants. It will be composed of six aboveground floors as well as two underground floors. The building of the investment started in January 2015 and the structure will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2016. The general contractor of the building is Skanska SA. The project of the office was devised in the CDF Architekci studio. Skanska Property Poland is responsible for commercialization whereas Colliers International advised Bridgestone in the process of choosing a location and negotiating lease conditions.
