American Starbucks chain has become the first leaseholder of Brama Portowa commercial complex. The new premise is going to be the biggest location in Szczecin so far - the cafe will take up 160 sq. m. in building I's lobby. Its opening has been planned for 2013, when the entire investment is to be completed.
Located in city center, Brtama Portowa is an investment of SwedeCenter partnership, belonging to Inter IKEA group. The complex will consist of two office-services buildings - Brama Portowa I and Brama Portowa II. The first structure is going to have 6 floors and over 4 500 sq. m. will be made available to leasholders. Office area will make up 4 000 m2, the remaining 500 m2 is going to be occupied by commercial and services premises. In turn, the 7-floor Brama Portowa II is going to have a total area of over 8 000 m2, including 6 800 m2 of offices and 1 400 m2 of commercial area.
There are over 1600 Starbucks cafes in 30 countries in Europe, Near East and Africa. In Poland there are 11, 6 of which in Warsaw. The Polish chain is being developed by AmRest Coffee Sp. z o.o., created by Starbucks Coffee International, Inc. and AmRest Sp. z o.o.
