AVIA offers ca. 11 500 sq. m of office area. Its tenants may benefit from an underground car park for 170 vehicles. The office is certified in the LEED Core and Shell Gold system and it is a joint undertaking of such investors as CA Immo and GD&K Group. The building was commissioned at the end of 2014. The structure is located in a technological park situated at Jan Paweł II Avenue and it belongs to the Cracow Special Economic Zone. Such location of the buildings definitely favors development of companies from the SSC (Shared Service Center) and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) sectors.
Cracow certainly deserves to be called one of the most important centers of IT technology, IT services (ITES) and biotechnology in Europe – says dr Bruno Ettenauer, CEO in CA Immo. The concentration of this sector contributes to creation of valuable workplaces. The region is also attractive for international companies and investors and thus there are new possibilities for the local market of lease of office areas – adds Ettenauer.
Among companies renting areas in the office there are such companies as Bank BPH SA and GE Healthcare which moved into the structure right after completion of the construction works in December 2014. The organizations are owned by General Electric Group. The offices of the bank occupy one and a half of the floor – 3100 sq. m of office areas whereas GE Healthcare – a company specialized in delivering products of medical engineering – rents 2400 sq. m. Moreover, the company which runs a bistro bar occupies ca. 400 sq. m on the ground floor. The modern office has been already commercialized in 95 per cent.
