General Directorate of State Forests in Warsaw bought office building located on Grójecka street.

General Directorate of State Forests in Warsaw is planning to move its office into newly bought office building on Grójecka 127 street. The vendor, Aviva Investors, working on behalf of Aviva Investors Central European Property Fund (a fund, created to invest in commercial real estate sector in Central Europe), was advised by experts from Savills.


Grójecka 127 office building is located about 1,5 km southwest from Warsaw central business district.  It offers the tenant 7,400 m2 of space and 184 parking spaces. It was opened for use in 2002.


Sale of Grójecka 127 office building is the third big investment transaction this year in Poland, in which Savills team was advising. In the first half of 2013, Savills was a part of investments worth in total 120 million Euro, which places us at the head of investment advising companies in Poland – comments Michał Ćwikliński, Head of Investment Department of Savills in Poland.


Aviva Investors is a part of one of the biggest in the world insurance groups. It is administering a portfolio of real estates, located in 15 countries and worth over 236 milliard pounds. The group offers investment management services and solutions on the behalf of the clients from all over the world.


State Forests is the biggest in EU organisation, administering the forests belonging to the State Treasury. It is working in almost one third of Poland. The organisation is based on the principle of self-financing. In State Forests there are almost 25,000 employees. The current General Director of State Forests is Adam Wasiak.
