Ernst&Young will lease additional 1,150 m2 of space in Rondo 1 office building. The company works in auditing, as well as in tax, business and transaction advising. It has its office in the Warsaw place since 2006 and is the biggest tenant of the building. The new contract will raise space leased by the company to over 12,000 m2. In 2011 Ernst&Young prolonged the lease until 2021.
Rondo 1 is one of the most modern and ecologic A+ class office buildings in Central and Eastern Europe. The object acquired LEED Gold certificate in the category of Existing Buildings. It was also awarded with prestigious prizes, such as Real Green CEE Real Estate Quality Awards 2011 in the category Building of the Year, or Building of the Decade, awarded by CEEQA.
Rondo 1 consists of 40-storey tower, finished in 2006, located near Warsaw Central railway station. In the complex there is also a neighbouring, 10-storey building containing a parking lot, service places and office of the administrator. Rondo 1 in total offers about 66,000 m2 and almost 500 parking spaces. A medium storey area is about 1,500 m2, and the tenants are free to arrange it ad they see fit. The design of the building was prepared by the American architectonic studio Skidmore, Owing & Merill, in cooperation with Polish AZO and Epstein studios. Rondo 1 belongs to the MGPA Europe Fund II. The sole agent responsible for the commercialisation of the place is CBRE.
