Two law firms - Allen & Overy as well as Squire, Sanders & Dempsey have extended lease contracts in Warsaw's office building Rondo 1. Combined, both companies occupy 3 800 out of 64 000 sqm. of office space offered by the metropolitan structure. In recent months Ernst & Young company, which is renting 11 000 sqm of office space in total has also decided to extend its contract in the 40-floor office building.
Allen & Overy has 38 branches and operates in 26 countries. The legal practice, which operates business activity for over 80 years, is Present in Poland since 1991. Warsaw branch in Rondo 1 has been started in 2006 - the firm rents 2 200 sqm. of area in the building. The beginnings of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey chambers reach year 1890. The company provides services in 16 countries, in which it has 36 offices in total. In 2007, after two years of presence in Poland, the practice has rented 1 600 in the metropolitan structure.
Responsible for Rondo 1's design are architects from an American Skidmore, Owings & Merill company, specializing in designing high-rises. The concept was being created in cooperation with Polish AZO and Epstein studios. The investment was completed in 2006 and is the property of MGPA Europe Fund II, managed by private equity MGPA.
