Over 500 m2 on the sixth floor of Warsaw office building Rondo 1 has been rented out by Conoco Philips company from energy industry. The scyscraper offers a total of 66 000 m2 of rent area. It is one of the most modern buildings in Polish capital, the first in Europe to recieve an environmental certificate LEED Gold in "existing buildings" cathegory. It is also the winner of a renowned award Real Green CEE Real Estate Quality Awards 2012 in "Building of the year 2011" cathegory.
Prestigous location as well as the standard offered have probably influenced the decision to extend the lease contract by 5 years by Bridgepoint, which specializes in acquiring and developing companies. Currently the company rents 530 m2 of office area on 9th floor.
Another company that decided to remain in Rondo 1 building is Credit Suisse from financial industry. The company's office, with an area of 950 m2 is located on 13th floor. The lease contract has been extended to year 2017.
Rondo 1 belongs to MGPA Europe Fund III fund managed by MGPA. The building's design has been prepared in cooperation with Polish studios AZO and Epstein by an American architectural studio Skidmore, Owings & Merill.
