Gdansk seminar series is one of several meetings in the nationwide project of RD bud aimed to a wide audience, which goal is to introduce significant changes in the design and realization of new projects in urban architecture of Polish cities.
Debates and practical workshops are there to help to get closer to the realization of projects in the field of sustainable construction, which in the near future will cease to be rare and will become the standard. The seminar "Sustainable design - a partnership for sustainable construction" initiates discussion among all professional groups involved in building the investment process of investors, developers, design offices, solution providers, general contractors, and representatives of local authorities.
During the Gdansk edition, spoke the representatives of the Department of Urban Planning, Architecture and the City Council on Monuments and Sites in Gdansk, representatives of companies: RD bud, Broadway Malyan, Mott MacDonald, Pilkington Poland and the Office of Economic and Legal Advisory. Seminar participants are familiar with the concept of masterplanning (democratic process of planning, in which a multidisciplinary team of specialists are trying to find a balanced solution that combines the interests of all participants in the construction process), both in theory and in practice.
Another seminar with sustainable development as a main theme will take place in late November in Warsaw.
