Towarzystwo Finansowe Silesia (Silesia Finance Society) owned by the State Treasury presented a revitalization concept of the lands of the former Stocznia Szczecińska Nowa shipyard – informs “Rzeczpospolita”. In accordance with the assumed guidelines, the futuristic project shall be realized until 2021.
A variety of properties with different functions will be built on the lands of the former shipyard. The industrial halls will be converted into office lofts. Near them a marina, a technology and commerce park and an office center will be created – enumerates the newspaper. The investor plans to maintain the shipbuilding. Thanks to combining the old and the new functions, the undertaking shall be profitable.
The cost of all the construction works will be of about 67 million PLN. TF Silesia considers joining the Jessica initiative, from which Szczecin may obtain even 80 million PLN of low-interest loan for the revitalization of local industrial properties.
