The authorities of Łódź plan to put up for auction the property on Sienkiewicza and Tymienieckiego streets. The city wants to create a modern office building in place of the old Olimpia swimming pool. The starting price of this 8 thousand sq. m property is 4 million PLN – informs “Gazeta Wyborcza”.
A company listed on the NASDAQ Stock Market of New York has shown interest in the property. The municipality however, didn’t want to give any specific information about the potential investor. It has only informed that the plot will become part of the SEZ in Łódź. The zone will be responsible for selling the swimming pool by tender, which will take place next week. The buyer will also be granted a business license valid in the zone.
