West Link is situated at Na Ostatnim Groszu Street. The investment offers over 14 000 sq. m of office space and 200 sq. m of service space. New tenants such as Nokia and Hilti will soon move into the building. There will be also a kindergarten with a nursery unit and canteen on the area of the investment.
We are really satisfied that such investments as West Link appear in our city. It is worth emphasizing that these projects make Wrocław friendlier to investors. The city is awarded prizes and it attracts new companies from Poland and abroad – says Karolina Grzyb, Head of Business Support Center, Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency.
The office was purchased by Globalworth Poland in May. After the completion of construction works, Echo Investment handed the building over to a new owner. On this occasion, both investor and developer presented the 6-meter-high sculpture made by Oskar Zięta. It is made with the use of the FiDU technology typical for the artist. Its shape refers to a limb. It took 8 months, 1500 kg of Venetian steel and 108 m of seam lines to complete the sculpture.
We design office buildings to be work places serving as elements of well-designed public space. The way of arrangement and surroundings of modern offices are supposed to stimulate creativity and favor establishing mutual relations. Thereby, we more frequently cooperate with artists, community workers or local organizations which help us to attractively present the most interesting features and functions of a given building and its surroundings. West Link is our next successful project in Wrocław. We are so proud of this incredible sculpture made by Oskar Zięta, extremely talented artist and architect – says Rafał Mazurczak, Member of the Board of Echo Investment.
Oskar Zięta is one of the most recognizable Polish designers and laureates of many awards. His works are presented within collections in Badisches Landmuseum in Karlsruhe, Museum für Gestaltung in Zurych, Pinakoteka in Munich and Center Pompidou in Paris. I hope that this is the beginning of the further cooperation. It is worth investing in space surrounding office buildings. In my opinion, Wrocław is becoming a place that is open to such actions and this will certainly improve the perception of our city – says Oskar Zięta.
