The upcoming evenings on the European Square will be marked with the films directed and starred by Clint Eastwood. The movie night cycle will be held for the next two weeks from Monday to Thursday from 6 p.m. The organizer – Ghelamco Poland – and two partners: The Place restaurant and Książece invite to the event.
The autumn cycle started with the movie “Mystic River”, that is a gripping crime fiction from 2003. The movie directed by Clint Eastwood stars Sean Penn and Tom Robbins, who were awarded with the Oscars for their roles.
The program for this week includes:
- “Space Cowboys” on Tuesday. It stars Clint Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones and Donald Sutherland. This is a story about the retired NASA pilots who unexpectedly have to go into space and repair a damaged satellite.
- “Million Dollar Baby” on Wednesday. A movie awarded with the Oscars. Clint Eastwood is both director and leading actor. The movie also stars Hilary Swank and Morgan Freeman. “Million Dollar Baby” is about a girl from a small American town who is an amateur boxer and who wants to be trained by one of the best trainers. The boxing trainer, however, is not willing to train women.
- “Gran Torino” on Friday. Clint Eastwood is a director and he also plays a leading role in this movie. The protagonist of “Gran Torino”, Walt Kowalski, is a Vietnam war veteran. After his wife’s death, Kowalski is alone and maintains no relationships. However, his peace is disturbed by new neighbors from Asia.
