Wrocław's Technology Park was extended by another buildings - Delta and Omega. Their official opening took place on 25th October. In the ceremony took part i.a. Lower Silesian Voivod, representatives of Ministry of Economy and city's authorities.
New buildings were built within an Operative Programme Innovative Economy: "Od Wrocławskiego Parku Technologicznego do Innopolis Wrocław” ("From Wrocław's Technology Park to Innopolis Wrocław"). Their opening was held in a very unconventional way. Touching four points at the screen caused that virtual scissors cut a virtual ribbon. Commemoration exhibition of companies which have their offices in the complex and presentation of their products were incidental to this event.
Architecture studios Archikon and PM Group Polska were responsible for an architecture concept. Works were executed by coopartneship Erbud. Complex combines three types of space: office, laboratory, production. New laboratories (transferred from Beta building) kindergarten with educational centre "Technoludek", Lower Silesian Academic Incubator of Enterprise and WPT offices will be located in Delta building. Three-generation energy source will function in Omega and will guarantee electric energy, heat and cold to the whole complex.
