The LEED certificate is the internationally renowned system of ecological certification of buildings. Designs are assessed on the grounds of five main criteria such as sustainable location of a given investment, effectiveness of water economy, use of energy and atmosphere, use of materials and resources as well as quality of the internal environment. The additional criterion is innovativeness applied in the process of designing. Buildings are granted a certain number of points in each of these criteria. Alchemia II was awarded the certificate at the highest level, that is LEED PLATINUM. The building was granted 89 points during certification and thus it occupies the third place in Poland, only 2 points behind the leader – Poleczki Business Park.
The second stage of the Alchemia office complex is situated in the central location of Gdańsk, that is at Grunwaldzka 409 Avenue. The office is a property class A, which is characterized by timeless architecture and multi-functionality. The building is also awarded the title of the best office of the year 2015 in Poland in the Eurobuild Awards competition.
