In the 21st edition of Book of Lists, Ghelamco Poland was awarded with both the special distinguishing Spotlight and the title Most Innovative Developer for all achievements, including the realization of Warsaw Spire.
It is a special year for us. We have finished Warsaw Spire, which is the crowning of the 25-year-old business activity of Ghelamco in Poland. We commissioned Plac Europejski (European Square) and Warsaw Spire for inhabitants of the city and we managed to change the business map of the capital. We have been a trendsetter and leader on the market for years. Therefore, we are really glad that our vision, courage and innovative approach were distinguished, and our activities became an indicator of development for the whole sector of properties in Poland – says Jeroen van der Toolen, Managing Director of Ghelamco CEE.
Ghelamco is one of the leading developers and general contractors operating on the Polish commercial market. The company has commissioned 1 100 000 sq. m of space within 25 years of its business activity in Poland, and new projects are currently in the phase of realization. Moreover, Ghelamco supports culture and art. For instance, the company established the Art in the City Foundation, the goal of which is to realize tasks aimed at enhancement of quality of public space. Ghelamco is also an initiator of a special project Nowa Towarowa, which is to change the image of one of the most important communication arteries in Warsaw.
Book of Lists ranking has been issued by Valkea Media since 1995. It is the oldest business ranking on the market, which concerns different sectors of economy, including the real estate market.
