Skanska informed about commencement of the first phase of the Spark office complex in Warsaw. The investment will be realized on the so called Serek Wolski area, that is a plot situated at the crossroads of Okopowa and Towarowa Streets. The complex will be composed of 3 buildings, including a 130-meter-high tower and it will deliver more than 70 000 sq. m of modern office space to the Warsaw market, 12 300 sq. m of which will be realized within the first phase commissioned at the beginning of 2018. The building realized within the first phase of works will be composed of 9 aboveground tiers.
Skanska will realize a public square, work zone outside the building and amphitheater within the investment. Interestingly, there will be hives on a special terrace realized within the first phase. We paid close attention so that Spark could be a socially responsible structure at the very stage of designing. This time we want to take a step further. On the one hand, we want to create a good place for developing businesses, which will trigger positive emotions. On the other hand, we want this place to serve inhabitants of Wola and the whole city. We will provide a space for both work and relaxation inside and outside the buildings. Thanks to combination of knowledge of partner foundations and our design team, we managed to consult the planned space very early and adjust it to the needs of inhabitants and disabled. I hope that Spark will become a new business card of this part of Warsaw – says Arkadiusz Rudzki, Managing Director of Skanska Property Poland.
Kuryłowicz & Associates architectural studio was responsible for devising a project of the complex.
