ABB extended a lease contract for 10 000 sq. m of office space in Axis. Thus, the office of Skanska is totally rented by one tenant before its planned commissioning.
The decision about extending the cooperation with investor was made due to dynamic development of ABB. We are planning to hire the next 1000 people by the end of 2018. Axis perfectly fits the development plans of the company and it will enable consolidation of existing Cracow offices of ABB – says Janusz Machnicki, Chairman for Management of ABB in Poland.
The commissioning of Axis is planned on the fourth quarter of 2016. Similarly to the previous Cracow investment of Skanska, that is Kapelanka 42, the structure was totally rented. The business success of Axis as a building, which quickly found an investor and main tenants, is the best example of huge interest in the Cracow office market – says Ewelina Kałużna, Chairman for Lease and Management of Skanska Property Poland.
In March this year the investor started another investment in Cracow – High Five at Dworzec Główny Railway Station.
