An official opening of Dominikanski – an office complex realized by Skanska in Wroclaw – was held on 17th May this year. The participants of the event were e.g. representatives of the owner of the investment – Union Investment fund, architects of the project, representatives of Skanska and Adam Grehl – Vice-President of Wroclaw.
Dominikanski is a conceptual project which tells a history itself strictly related to the place where it originated. By referring to the past, the complex creates a new context for this part of the city based on both modern business and architecture. We wanted our investment to be open to inhabitants. Thus, we cared about high quality and surrounding of the building. Together with local society and artists in the neighborhood of the building, we have realized a project of flower murals. We want not only employees but also inhabitants to feel good in that place. Thanks to a responsible approach to this investment at the very early stage, tenants and present owner of Dominikanski decided to trust us – says Arkadiusz Rudzki, Managing Director, Skanska Property Poland.
The transaction of Dominikanski was not the first stage of our cooperation. We have bought a building in Finland from Skanska and we have recently closed another transaction in Boston. Thanks to close involvement of both sides, we managed to develop a partner relation which will earn interest in business – says Volker Noack, Member of the Board of Union Investment Real Estate GmbH, Hamburg.
Dominikanski complex is composed of two 7-tier offices and baroque Oppersdorf palace, which performs an office function. The investment offers 40 000 sq. m of leased area. The complex will be awarded LEED at the Gold level. The project was commissioned in August 2015, whereas in 2014 the complex purchased Union Investment fund for 117 million euro. The list of tenants of the investment includes HP Global Business Center, Deloitte, Skanska, BrightOne or Work Service.
