A new office investment owned by Skanska Property Poland – that is Generation Park – will be realized in the Wola district in Warsaw. At present, works at realization of the first stage of the project are being conducted. A building X with 11 aboveground and 2 underground tiers will be built within the complex. Generation Park will offer more than 21 000 sq. m of lease area. The completion of the investment is planned on the fourth quarter of 2017.
As a target, Generation Park will be composed of three structures – two with total lease area amounting to ca. 40 000 sq. m as well as a 140-meter-high tower with 44 000 sq. m of office and service area. Moreover, there will be also 600 parking places for cars and ca. 370 stands for bicycles realized within the investment. The complex will jointly offer 84 000 sq. m of office area. Generation Park will be the largest project in the history of our business activity not only in Poland but also in the whole region of Central and Eastern Europe – says Katarzyna Zawodna, Managing Director, Skanska Property Poland.
The project of the investment was devised in the JEMS Architekci studio. We gave a special attention to problems related to shaping of a building form including analyses of view from distant prospect. Due to its location, the building constitutes a crucial point in the panorama of the city. It marks important directions of the axis of Prosta and Towarowa Streets. We wanted the planned complex to be a counterbalance for differentiated forms and shapes of the buildings envisaged for realization in the closest neighborhood – says Paweł Majkusiak, JEMS Architekci.
Generation Park is devised in accordance with the Workplaces by Skanska philosophy and it is going to receive the LEED certificate at the Platinum level. A general contractor of the investment is Skanska SA, whereas Skanska Property Poland is responsible for its realization.
