Dominikański is the fourth office structure owned by Skanska in Wrocław. The works related to the building of the complex lasted two years. The building A and revitalized XVIII c. Oppersdorff Palace – that is building C – were commissioned in May this year. The total rentable area of the whole complex amounts to 40 000 sq. m, the half of which is located in a newly realized building B.
Wrocław was the first regional market where we started to realize our projects and Dominikański is clear evidence that the capital of the Lower Silesia is still a place in which it is worth investing. The city is a very attractive point on the map of Poland mainly for companies from the sector of modern services for business. For instance, one of the greatest lease contracts in 2014 was signed in Dominikański. A great interest of the investment from our clients allows us to optimistically plan other projects in Wrocław – says Mariusz Krzak, Regional Chairman of Skanska Property Poland.
Dominikański is located in the very heart of Wrocław at Oławska, Piotra Skargi and Wierzbowa Streets. The structure received pre-certification in the LEED system at the Gold level and has many facilitations dedicated to ecological means of transport such as stands for bicycles, changing rooms and showers for bicyclists as well as points for charging of electric cars.
Dominikański has a large patio and numerous service points. At present, the structure is rented in over 70 per cent. The biggest tenant of the complex is HP Global Business Center which occupies 16 400 sq. m. It is going to move into a new headquarters in November this year.
Medusa group architectural studio is responsible for the Dominikański project. The general contractor is Skanska S.A. and Skanska Property Poland is responsible for commercialization.
