Last 12 months were the best in history of Skanska Property Poland, which sold four office complexes of a total lease surface of nearly 85 000 sq. m. for almost 300 m Euro (1.2 bn PLN). In the year to come, the developer plans on purchase of plots for four new projects.

Skanska plans to purchase land for the further buildings. In 2014 we plan to buy four new plots for new office projects, at least one in Warsaw and three in the regional cities. We are aware that, only when having plots in the best locations at an early stage we will be able to provide lessee with an office space in an expected place, time and standard – said Waldemar Olbryk, Chairman of Skanska Property Poland.
The company has also succeeded in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Romania. The first Hungarian office building with LEED certification at the Platinum level – Green House, Budapest – is already leased in 93 per cent. The company in the capital city of the Czech Republic is erecting two office investments: Riverview as well as Corso Court. The developer’s first project in Romania has also been commenced – Green Court Bucharest.
I am highly satisfied with our performance in 2013. They confirm effectiveness of our operational model which is based upon three mainstays. We buy a land during favourable times in the best locations, we design comfortable, healthy and economical workplaces and the general contractor of our office buildings is Skanska S.A, owing to this we deliver high quality products in a short time. This is what nowadays lessee, and later investors, are looking for – said Waldemar Olbryk, Chairman of Skanska property Poland.
