Busines Garden Wrocław is a second project of SwedeCenter, after Business Garden Poznań, that received LEED Gold pre-certificate. The aims of balanced construction are: creation of a comfortable workplace and maintenance related costs optimization along with the decrease of the structure's negative effect on the environment.
The primary aim of Business Garden Wrocław's project is to reach a high level of energetic efficiency, with the help of movement and sound detectors, time clocks, the use of local materials partly received from renewable resources as well as materials with a low VOC index.
Moreover, a number of green areas will be set in the complex. An interior garden, with flora characteristic of local ecosystems and vegetation resistant to drought, is due to be created. The roof will be covered with greenery, which will not only increase the number of bio – active areas, but will also diminish the heat isles effect and slow down the outflow of rain water. No constant irrigation system will be implemented inside the garden – the rain water will be gathered in special containers and used for watering of flora.
Business Garden Wrocław is one of the three business parks created in Poland by SwedeCenter under the Business Garden brand. The project will eventually consist of eight office buildings and a hotel with a conference centre. The complex will offer a total of 110 000 sqm of office and service space. The first phase will include a construction of two office buildings and a hotel. The construction of the investment will begin in the first quarter of 2014. APA Wojciechowski is responsible for the architectural design.
