The Companies TriGranit Development and PKP S.A. are realizing the modern investment Poznań City Center. The project, which is worth 160 mln euro, comprises the new train and bus stations, tram stops and office, commercial spaces, as well as car park and hotel. 8 March 2013 is going to be ceremonious hanging of perch above the investment, which means laying the last element of roof’s construction.
The building was started in the first half of 2011. The first phase was realization of the new tram station and it costed circa 120 mln euro. The modern tram station was brought into use before UEFA Euro 2012. President Bronisław Komorowski participated in the ceremony and he highlighted: It is very important day for Poznań and form PKP and I am glad that I can be here, in such essential day, and I open this new and beautiful building. I am aware that this is only part of bigger integrated center – there will be scpace for PKP, PKS and connection with tram communication. Congratulations and thank you all for your effort, which has such beautiful culmination.
The second phase was started in August 2012 and it will be building of bus station, multistorey, strip mall, office spaces and hotel. For the architectural Project of Poznań City Center is responsible international architecture bureau Bose International and Pracownia Pentagram Architekci from Poznań.
