On the 15th november, the official ceremony of laying the foundation stone under GreenWings Offices investment in Warsaw took place. The construction site is on 17 Stycznia St., in close vicinity to Chopin Airport.
The construction site was attended by invited guests, i.a. Raoul Delcorde - ambassador of Kingdom of Belgium, Leszek Drogosz - Director at metropolitan Biuro Infrastruktury in Warsaw, Olgierd Jagiełło - JEMS Architekci and Michał Wąsowicz - mayor of Włochy district in Warsaw. The stone has been symbolically consecrated by head priest of St Francis of Assisi parish.
Ronnie Richardson, president at OKRE Development said: - We're incredibly proud of GreenWings project. We hope, that this investment creates a new direction in construction as well as utilization of office complexes in accordance with the idea of harmony and coexistence with natural environment.
The building is offering 10 810 sqm. of modern A class office space on seven floors. There is going to be an underground parking lot with 270 parking places in the building. The architectural design was being handled by JEMS Architekci studio. GreenWings Offices is to fulfill sustainable construction standards, which will be proved by BREEAM certification.
- We're aware of trends appearing on the market, and that's why we embrace proecological solutions in our projects, so long as it is economically justified. Solutions of this kind become an added value, which helps in competing with other office buildings. Already during the design phase of GreenWings project we've applied for BREEAM certificate confirming the building's energy efficiency and environmental performance. We've been graded "very good" by the certifiers. According to BREEAM data, our office building is at the head of projects of this type in Poland - emphasized during the ceremony Ronnie Richardson .
The investment's general contractor is CFE Polska. Its investor is GreenWings Offices Sp. z o.o., while OKRE Development copartnership has become the investment process' manager.
