Like every year, the fourth PLGBC Green Building Symposium gathers experts from green construction industry. Warsaw's two-day conference in Copernicus Center is the only happening of this type on national scale, and this year it's keynote speaker is going to be the internationally known authority on green construction, Andrew Bowerbank.
Over the course of various panel discussions, the participants will discuss among other things on the topic of green materials, multi-criteria building grading systems as well as legislation in green construction. Highest level of discussions' substantive preparation is guaranteed by experts from such companies as: Skanska, Von der Heyden Group, Saint Gobain, BorgWarner Turbo Systems Poland, United Technologies Corporation, UBM Polska, Kurylowicz & Associates, Grontmij.
Conference's second day will be marked by two independent workshop sessions, case studies and presentations realted to: LEED-NC, LEED-CS, LEED-CI, BREEAM International i BREEAM in Use, marketing and fincances, PR, CSR, as well as "green technologies".
PLGBC Green Building Symposium is also the final of PLGBC AWARDS 2012 contest, covering only buildings and designs existing in Poland. That is when we will know the winners in eleven cathegories, including the best completed buildings with a LEED or BREEAM certificate, best green buildings without certification, "Green interior" contest's winners as well as the best ecological designs.
PLGBC Green Building Symposium fourth edition's organiser is Polskie Stowarzyszenie Budownictwa Ekologicznego - an organisation accredited by World Green Building Council as it's full member.
