On May the 7th 2012 in Warsaw Jones LaSalle was honored one of the most ethical companies in the world. The rank is conducted annually by an international organization called Ethisphere Institute which has been analyzing the most ethical activities of the companies, their honesty, awareness of their responsibility for the society and their regard on the rules of sustainable development. There were many areas judged: ethical codes of companies, cases of disputes and code violations, investments in innovative solutions and sustainable development policy. There were also questionnaires conducted among subjects related to the companies.
Mark Ohrinage who is a Global General Counsel and Chief Ethics Officer in Jones LaSalle who has been working on the code of business ethics for over a decade, has received a title of one of 100 most influential people in the ethics of business. He has cooperated with Ethisphere Institute before conducting interdisciplinary studies entitled The Influence of Workplace Design and Practices on the Ethical Environment.
The involvement in the ethics of business’ issues contributes an integral part of corporate culture of Jones Lang LaSalle - said Chief Executive Officer in Jones Lang LaSalle, Collin Dyer. He emphasized that both customers and employees appreciate the uniqueness of the company towards the business ethics, which makes Jones Lang LaSalle one of the most desirable employers on the market. The company competed with a couple of thousands of other companies from over 100 countries and 36 sectors of the economy.
