An abandoned building in Wrocław will be turned into an office property, as we can read on naszemiasto.pl website. The renovation of the squalid building, which is now starting, will last until mid-May 2012.
The outer architecture will remain the same. However, the interiors, elevations, windows and entrance will be replaced. One or two new floors will be added instead of the high attic. Also the structure and covering of the roof will be renovated. The building will be insulated, its facades lightened, informs the website.
The renovation and alteration will be made by Lukbud. The investment project has already been approved by the city’s conservator of monuments. It was needed because the building is a part of the Old Town.
