The office will be named “Biura przy Bramie” ("Offices at the Gate") which refers to the already designed public square Brama Browarów (Brewery Gate). This building will offer nearly 13 000 sq. m of modern office space and 1100 sq. m of service space. The investment will comprise of two parts with a two-level underground garage. The construction works will start in July this year.
Works related to a partial building of the public square known as Brama Browarów will be conducted simultaneously. Interestingly, there will be much more such public squares – at the historical building of Brewery or between the residential buildings in the northern part of the plot (so called plac Śniadaniowy). Inhabitants, employees of nearby offices as well as tourists will have as much as 15 700 sq. m of open area at their disposal, where they can walk all day long. Moreover, new streets are to be realized within the investment.
Warsaw Brewery is being erected within the boundaries of four streets: Grzybowska, Wronia, Chłodna and Krochmalna in the Warsaw city center. It is a place where the future meets with the past. On the one side there are new investments and infrastructure, on the other – there are still some tracks of the historical city development. It is where the Warsaw Haberbusch & Schiele Brewery was founded in 1846. It was the largest brewery during the Kingdom of Poland as well as one of the most important breweries on the map of Europe which operated till the World War Two. The business activity was continued by Royal Brewery and the production lasted almost incessantly till 2004.
The concept of the new development of this place was devised by Echo Investment. The company would like to return the entire quarter to the city of Warsaw and to the Varsovians within the Warsaw Brewery investment. This design will create frames for the modern and multi-use urban environment. Moreover, the architectural concept of Warsaw Brewery was prepared by JEMS Architekci.
