The structure is situated in the Wola district in close proximity to the „Rondo Daszyńskiego” metro station. Around 28 400 sq. m of leased area were delivered to the Warsaw market within this project. The general contractor of the first stage of Proximo was HOCHTIEF Poland. Construction works were completed in accordance with the schedule after two years from receiving the building permit. The project also included performance of technical infrastructure, elements of road system and land-use planning.
The actual rental of the office amounts to more than 65 per cent. The group of tenants includes such companies as Stanley Black & Decker, Grupa Pracuj, Takeda, Manpower Group, Six Payment Services, Axa Assistance, Hines, Fox Networks Group Poland, Rossmann, Jean Louis David, Green Caffee Nero and Olimp.
The building was awarded BREEAM certificate in February last year. International design team BuroHappold Engineering was responsible for the certification process and it also devised a concept of construction and installations in the office.
The architectural project Proximo was devised by a renown British Rolfe Judd studio. Together with developer, we managed to create a modern building which has a distinctive shape, meets expectations of users and respects the context of location. The realization of the second stage of this undertaking will start in the third quarter of 2016 in accordance with the investor’s announcement.
