The change of the date when the construction works start is connected with the difference between the assumed and obtained funds within the frames of the public offer of shares. We planned to obtain over 180 million zloty, but we collected only 136.2 million zloty. As a result, we had to postpone the implementation of a part of the investment, and the second stage of Eurocentrum is a natural choice in such a situation, informed Michał Koślacz, finance director of Capital Park Group.
The date of completing the investment was scheduled for the second quarter of 2016. However, it is not certain when it will be actually put into use. We will be waiting for the finish of the first stage of this project and the progress of the Royal Wilanów investment, added Kinga Nowakowska, operations director in the company.
The construction of the Eurocentrum Office Complex started in June 2012. The project consists of three parts, offering a total of 70 000 sq. m of usable area for rent. On 15 floors of the office block there will be ca. 64 000 sq. m of office space. The first stage of Eurocentrum, with over 42 000 sq. m of modern office space, has already been commercialised in 51 per cent. Currently, the office block is on the short lists in 12 tenders. The lease agreements for the space in Eurocentrum Office Complex were signed, among others, by the following companies: Imtech Polska, Unilever, Qumak Sekom and Randstad Polska. The building will be completed in June this year.
