On Aleja Pokoju 5 Street in Kraków, in the vicinity of Grzegórzeckiego Roundabout, the new office investment by the Buma Group will be built. The building will have 9 floors above ground and 2 underground floors, and it will offer its tenants about 13 000 sq. m of rentable area. At the beginning of February, demolition works of the existing buildings began, and the entire investment is to be completed in the third quarter of 2015. The general contractor is Buma Contractor, from the Buma Group company.
The office block was designed in the architectural studio UCEES from Kraków, while the designs of the indoor installations are made by Buro Happold. In the building, a set of open spaces was arranged, which can be re-arranged by the future users to suit their individual needs. The above-ground surfaces in the Aleja Pokoju 5 office block will be allocated to office functions, only in the front part of the ground floor there will be service and commercial premises.
Aluminum facades were chosen for the project, while from the side of Aleje Pokoju Street the facade of the building, thanks to raised ground floor, will bring attention to the front of the building.
Aleja Pokoju 5 was designed and will be built in accordance with the principles of sustainable construction. Energy-efficient, passive technologies will be implemented in the building, as well as intelligent systems. The building will get the BREEAM International 2009 certificate, at Very Good level.
